The Tribe Symposium 2026: Change-Makers in Action will bring together Canadian changemakers, leaders and innovators for a day of conversations, followed by the inaugural YCCM Awards celebrating meaningful impact across communities and society.

YCCM, a national platform for Young Canadian Change-makers, is set to bring  together changemakers, leaders, speakers and community partners for The Tribe Symposium 2026: Change-Makers in Action, culminating in the inaugural YCCM Awards.

Additionally, the inaugural Young Canadian Change-makers Awards will celebrate young leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators and community changemakers across Canada. Alongside the awards, The Tribe Symposium 2026 will bring together award recipients, speakers, business leaders and community partners to.explore leadership, social impact and the work being done to create meaningful change across Canadian communities.

Highlighting the vision behind the awards and symposium, Mayowa Ajibodu President, Young Canadian Change-makers said:

“The strength of Canada’s future is already visible in the actions of its young people. Every young change-maker who chooses to serve, innovate, lead, and create impact is helping move our country forward. The Tribe Symposium and Awards exist to recognize those actions, amplify their voices, and remind Canada that when young people are empowered to lead, the whole nation benefits.”
