Families in the Greater Toronto Area looking for something festive to do over Easter weekend will soon have a new reason to celebrate. Easter Fun Fest is returning to the Markham Fairgrounds from April 3 to April 6, 2026, bringing rides, inflatables, live entertainment, and plenty of activities for children and parents alike.
Every spring, the festival transforms the fairgrounds into a colorful playground filled with attractions for all ages. This year, organizers say the event is designed to give families a full-day experience rather than a quick holiday outing.
“Families are looking for experiences, not just another egg hunt,” says Evan Aranoff, producer of Easter Fun Fest. “We wanted to create a place where rides, inflatables, photo opportunities, live shows, and the classic egg hunt all come together in one space.”
A Festival Designed for Families
One of the most eye-catching highlights is a 15-foot-tall plush Easter Bunny, which has become a favorite photo opportunity for families visiting the festival.
However, the fun does not stop there. Guests can explore both indoor halls and outdoor attractions, meaning the event will run comfortably rain or shine.
In addition, organizers have expanded the rides area this year. The update includes a vintage merry-go-round, as well as new attractions designed for younger children.
Families can also take advantage of a family pack ticket option, which offers entry for two adults and two children at a discounted price.
Rides, Food Trucks, and Plenty of Activities
Throughout the festival grounds, visitors will find more than 30 rides and inflatables included with admission.
Meanwhile, food trucks and sweet treat vendors will be serving classic fair favorites. Guests can also browse local vendor booths while children enjoy activities like:
- Face painting
- Carnival games
- A petting zoo
- Interactive stage shows
- The inflatable midway
- Trackless train rides
For many families, the event has become an annual Easter tradition.

All tickets include unlimited rides and inflatables.
Parking is available for $10 per vehicle, while activities such as face painting, carnival games, and the petting zoo operate on a pay-as-you-go basis.
